As part of the TT200® CORE project, which represents the automation of the Toring Turbine aeration system, a simulation of the aeration process in a WWT plan was performed. The amount of oxygen was set to 4 mg / L with a hysteresis of 0.5 mg / L.

The experiment that was carried out in the Toring Turbine Test Pool was divided into three phases:

PHASE 1 – lowering the concentration of dissolved oxygen in water;
PHASE 2 – automatic activation of the aerator when the dissolved oxygen concentration drops below 3.5 mg / L;
PHASE 3 – automatic stop of the aerator at the dissolved oxygen value 4.50 mg / L.

The test confirmed the efficiency, relevance and functionality of the automated aeration system TT200® CORE.
